This new casino – a jewel nestled in the crown of the mountain – is located on the Versant Soleil at the Mont-Tremblant Resort. A highlight of the “chalet” design used for Québec’s fourth casino, built at a cost of CA$66.5 million, is the large windows that showcase stunning views of nature. In winter, skiers can even come to the casino in their boots – slippers will be provided at the entrance. The Casino Express aerial tramway runs between the casino and the south side of the resort every weekend.
Clients can enjoy the facility’s aesthetic benefits as well as a full range of gaming activities, among them 400 slot machines and 25 croupier tables, including a "high-roller” section with two private salons. The casino’s walls are adorned with a number of creations by Québec artists. It has capacity for 1,600, over three levels covering a total surface area of 6500 m² (almost 70,000 square feet).
The early 20th century marked Mont-Tremblant's official birth as a summer resort destination of choice. In the years that followed, its substantial growth quickly made it one of the most popular regions, even in winter.
Today, any time of year, the young and young-at-heart head to the Mont-Tremblant area to ski, hike, hunt, fish, visit art galleries, and, well… just about everything! Tremblant has also made a name for itself worldwide, ranked as one of Canada's top 20 resorts by Condé Nast Traveller and as the country's favourite ski resort by Snow East magazine!
For anyone who loves the outdoors, the region is resplendent with natural beauty and remains the preferred destination, be it for a single day of fun or for a longer getaway.
The shores of the region's lakes, rivers and streams are dotted with many hotels and inns just waiting to extend a warm welcome to day-trippers and foreign visitors alike.
