Wildlife Safaris & Ornithology Tours - Manitoba

Encounter one of the world's wonderful natural phenomena, as the annual Polar Bear "migration" occurs along the Hudson Bay coast. Churchill is referred to as "The Polar Bear Capital of the World", but the bears are not the only attraction. You can explore the arctic tundra along the Hudson Bay coast and venture into the treeline of the vast Boreal forest of the Canadian Shield. Caribou, Arctic Fox, Wolf, Arctic Hare and Lemmings are other wildlife we encounter, as well as Snowy Owl, Gyrfalcon, and other arctic birds. Polar Bear Lodge is a unique facility that permits the finest opportunity to view not only bears, but also other wildlife. It also permits spectacular views of Northern Lights and sunrises/sunsets. We offer great food, fun, and fellowship at this special safari.

Tours are led by professional naturalists with extensive experience with both the natural and cultural heritage of the Churchill region. Since 1987, our firm has conducted Polar Bear tours to Churchill.

The Lodge at Gold River - Vancouver Island, British Columbia

On the wild steelhead and salmon rivers of the West Coast of Vancouver Island, The Lodge at Gold River defines the luxury of roughing it. We offer guided fishing on one of British Columbia's finest wild steelhead and trout rivers along with some of the best west coast salmon fishing in the renowned waters of Nootka Sound. We offer a wide variety of angling experiences suited for all anglers regardless of their level of experience. Because we use a combination of boats, helicopters, and floatplanes for guiding, we can also offer access to other watersheds accessible only by air. Paired with our experienced local guide staff we can create a truly remote angling experience unlike anything found in North America. We are pleased to also offer unique and exciting non-fishing activities that showcase a number of high value locations some just minutes from The Lodge.
